Originally from America the game of racketball didn't reach the shores of the UK until the 1970s.

Played on a squash court with a slower ball and a shorter handled racket, the game appeals to beginners as well as those who find the physical demands of squash are too challenging.
The club also boasts more female racketball players than anywhere else in the midlands (and probably the UK too)! The friendly and sociable atmosphere is a big plus but the club also goes out of its way to provide a free crèche four mornings and one afternoon every week so that mums can build up their fitness and have fun at the same time. Social Mix-ins are held twice a week so there's always have someone to play against.
